•••We are on the brink of something, my guess is as good as yours.•••
JANUARY 20TH, 2017
My feet were frozen solid. I did not dress sufficiently for the weather. My body was sustained only though adrenaline. Finally I heard what I wanted to hear him say: “…we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.” He called out the audience behind him, the establishment, the elites, the politicians. Just as he did at the Red Dinner, in October, the madman accused the plutocrats of rampant corruption and self-interest, to their faces. Bold words. The people loved him for it. I loved him for it. This was an affirmation of a decade of personal political and philosophical study and discovery that led me to embrace the Trump movement with full conviction. No longer did I have to accept the ubiquitous corruption and perversion of our political structure, here was a champion who was going to clean house, top-down. America could be America again. For once, the inaugural pomp and circumstance was actually called for. For a month, maybe more, that euphoria of victory remained. But the beast had not been slain and the cold hard reality, a reality that deep down I didn’t want to confront, began boiling through.
FROGS
It is appropriate that Pepe, Apu, Kek, the Groypers, all the frog memes of the dark web are the avatars of us Trumps Supporters. We are the plague of frogs sent to free the people from a town obsessed with Egyptian symbols. However, the metaphor works against us as well. We are frogs and we are being boiled alive. Our enemies are wise, sinister, and very patient. They have the power and means to take their time—and they have been taking their time for the better part of a century. It was almost imperceptible by any single generation’s perception but it is accelerating to rate now clearly obvious. Soon it may be too late to hop out of the pot, but hoppity hop hop we must.
THE GODEMPEROR
For the first time we had a champion taking on the enemy on their turf. The slow war against the people, their nation and their liberty was paused and started reversing. That meme of him that says, “In reality they’re not after me, they’re after you, I’m just in the way,” is axiomatic. Donald Trump became a singularity around which the whole world orbited. For four years he sucked all the air out of the room. Everything in life became about Trump. Trump the man. Trump the idea. Trump the movement. Trump. Trump. Trump. Trump. Trump. Like that famous scene from “Being John Malkovich” he was everywhere and he was in everyone’s heads. Those that hated him could not avoid him, we who loved him could not get enough of him, and all those who were indifferent could not avoid being caught up in his spin. While everyone was distracted he worked magic behind the scenes. He was winning. The establishment was panicking. It took an engineered panic, lockdowns, riots and massive election fraud to even get close to stopping him and the jury is still out on that! No one should write him off.
ACCELERATION
I had dinner with a self-described “anarcho-communist” a few years back, probably Antifa. They didn’t know who I was. They admitted to loving Trump because they thought he would accelerate the end of America. Accelerationists. They have a point. 2016 exposed the deep hidden division festering for decades. Now it is clear there are two countries—quite literally. We don’t even speak the same “language.” Each side thinks the other crazier than Flat-Earthers. For four years the other side said, “Not my President” and now our side is returning the favor. It smells like civil war. At the time of this writing, four weeks out from January 20th, we the people are still in the dark. “Q” says “we’re not going to take it,” Gen. Michael Flynn is “Fed-posting” on Twitter, state governments are talking openly about secession, “Martial Law” is trending on MSM outlets, gun shops are sold out of everything and the #StopTheSteal rallies continue to march. But most notably, the man himself, has, not, conceded.
4 WEEKS
I am not qualified to predict what will unfold in the next month and doing so will only add to the noise and intellectual chaos already out there. What I am confident to say is that fewer and fewer Americans will have the luxury or option to remain spectators in this drama for much longer. If our President succeeds in overturning “The Great Cheat,” however it may play out, we will see a reaction from the left that will make the last four years look like a cakewalk. If, God forbid, he fails, there is no 2024. The establishment will lock up the castle and never let another upstart in. Like the Chinese Communist Party, only approved candidates will be allowed to run for “election.” They’ll all be the same, just different fake smiles. And that slow boil will be turned all the way up to eleven.
Hippity hoppity!
